After testing GTX 1070, RX Vega 56 as my substitute GPU in 2024, I've decided to grab a new MSI RTX 3050 6GB VENTUS from CompuWay and I'm impressed that it is able to hold on to games at proper 1080P 60FPS as long the game is well optimized.

My overall DIY gaming spec is based on 2013 until 2025 where I just change PC parts that needs replacement. I hope that I can upgrade the CPU and MOBO in another 6-8 years later too! Overall, I enjoyed my gameplay at Black Myth: Wukong and Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth at the FPS of around 60-80FPS.

The DIY PC Upgrade 2024

 

After more than 8 years, I have searched for used PC parts and new ones to upgrade my i5-3570 + GTX 1050 Ti into something better.

Bought several stuffs at Shopee:

• 32GB DDR4 RAM 2133MHz 
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
• Patriot P210 SSD SATA GEN III 1TB

And the result? I have made my cost of nearly RM1200 to do this upgrade. I'm so far satisfied with the gaming performance at AAA game titles such as NARAKA Bladepoint, Honkai: Star Rail and etc...

Will do another upgrade in 5-10 years later.

Milotic ex (SV8 Pokemon TCG's New Surprise Meta)

Can Milotic ex actually stay at Tier 2 or Tier 3? I guess it can. It works similar to control decks alongside Noivern ex. Here's a slight glimpse of the future Pokemon TCG SV8 meta!

My POV: This is an very OP ability as you literally blocked all the damages and effects from ex Pokemon?! That's crazy.

Hypno Slash with 160 Damage? You are able to put your opponent's Pokemon to sleep as well. That's pretty much a partial control deck which will be annoying in the meta to come.

Pokemon TCG Temporal Forces 2024

Temporal Forces re-introduces ACE SPEC cards to the Pokemon TCG. Because they are so powerful, you can only have one ACE SPEC card in your deck. The new ACE SPEC cards feature a pink card template and a new holofoil style. This time around they can also be Special Energy cards.

My Review:

SSP is a very decent savings product and also offers weekly / monthly contest which consist of winning around MYR currency above RM10,000 etc for the winner. Just make it as your alternative savings account which you can use in near future! 

There are various savings product in the Malaysia market and I think I'll review some again in future. The choice is YOURS!!!

How To Defeat Zapdos At Pokemon GO

Zapdos is a Level 5 / Legendary Tier Raid Boss. It is one of the Legendary Raid Bosses in Pokemon GO. You cannot defeat it easily by going solo. We recommend at least 12 players to take Zapdos down with ease.

As known, Zapdos is a ELECTRIC and FLYING type and there are few Pokemon's with strong counters.

CP of Zapdos Raid Boss is 42961 CP and it has Max Capture CP of 1902.

Based on reliable China source, there are 6 best counters against Zapdos. Translated into English as BELOW!!!

Tyranitar - Bite | Stone Edge
Dragonite - Dragon Breath | Outrage
Rhydon - Rock Smash | Stone Edge

USEFUL TIPS

Zapdos is weak against ICE / ROCK type skills and it's super effective! So, grab more Dragonite's and Tyranitar if you must. If your raid group have players below Level 25, make sure they get whatever ROCK type Pokemon's to survive and deliver some battle supports.

25 years of PC gaming back when Red Alert 1 was made. I remembered the times when I played 8-bit games around the 90's era and now we have evolved into the Gen Y industry. Having saved a lot of money to divide into two personal gadgets to use. Here's my midrange PC and laptop I have used along my gaming journey!

Now, I had intention to upgrade my laptop's HDD into SSD as a start and up to 8GB RAM possible. With AMD Ryzen released, I might need to save a lot more before I can change my i5 3570 processor into their awesome one's estimated around RM7xx as replacement in future. Enjoy gaming!
