Mirian Dota 2

A big clap to the rise of Miri Dota 2 players in Dota 2 Sarawak scene! They have achieved a great history by landing the hit against a full-team roster with their reformed and young players. As their in-help manager online, I have brought them several online tournaments suggested and they have harness the power to edged out all the top teams in Sarawak and able to compete with pros in West Malaysia too.

The story comes like this. I was just back from my half days work. Took my time with a 5K MMR player, chatting and seeing how the scene is like. Then I spectated team Sky Garden from Miri who is my friend and ally who have seek me for managerial position. I did nevertheless as an ex competitive DotA player. They were having a LAN competition where you can view online from any place!

This screenshot was a game versus Gizmo. They have finally won this game for I feel that the Miri players are showing what they deserved of. Their achievements , their players and time for the game spent together. This is not confirmed information whether it is semi finals or finals but truly, the player has led to many Top 1 to Top 3 records in the past. They deserved this feat.

The showcase of this game goes to Tiny from Sky Garden. Whipping out lashes against the opponent. Truly remarkable, Mirian Dota 2 players. I have once stated in Facebook that the rise of Mirian gamers, proven in this in-game scoreboard. They have molded their way through hard times and showed that Sarawak has a new and closely professional team in the field.

This tournament was said to be held somewhere in an old shopping mall of Sarawak as to date 27/9/2014 and I hope they can do their best again in other events.

Ubah 505 Sarawak

This is sourced from Facebook's Ubah 505 Sarawak fanpage. Are you going for the finale? I might have a 50 - 50 chance of going there to join and unite... Of course it's going to be hot and crowded but we are there for a purpose. To change the current weak and foul government who have done less and more corruption in the regime. Pakatan Rakyat or known as PR deserved a 5 years to govern Malaysia? Why not just give that the mandate to serve? They can get very good income and I am pretty sure they can change to be a better Malaysia for all!

Barisan National on the other hand has governed for 55~56 years and has not give good promises to the citizens of Malaysia. Tunku Abdul Rahman was toppled during a crisis event and it turned out that from my research, the 2nd Prime Minister of Malaysia is up to no good during the old days based on the true facts of history.

I believed Tunku Abdul Rahman and the ones who are sacrificed in Malaysia for politic reasons will be avenged. Corruption is the main deal and I am sure the world is eyeing on us for now. Let's do the best to vote against the illegal immigrants as sourced from websites and real-time events... Vote out against phantom voters as well!

You can check his track records and they were really good and he makes less mistakes as a Parliament member. I surely support his ethics.

Secondly, would be Alice Lau who is candidates at the Sibu area. My cousin's network was related to her so definitely it's worth the support since 2008. Who should you vote this time? Pakatan Rakyat or Barisan National? We all know in our hearts for a change?

Bush in Bulgaria

SOFIA (AFP) - US President George W. Bush, on the last leg of his European tour, is set for talks Monday with Bulgarian leaders about the proposed expansion of the US anti-missile defence shield in Europe.

Bush arrived in Sofia Sunday evening with his wife Laura on his first visit to the Balkan state.

After the official welcoming ceremony by national guards in downtown Sofia early Monday, Bush was scheduled to hold separate talks with his Bulgarian counterpart Georgy Parvanov and Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev. A press conference is expected around 10:30 am (0730 GMT).

A major topic on the US-Bulgarian agenda is expected to be the plans for extending parts of the US missile defence shield into the Czech Republic and Poland.

The plans also prompted calls from NATO members Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Turkey to be included under its umbrella as according to the current design they are either partly or fully outside its range.

Moscow however has loudly voiced its opposition as it suspects that the project is aimed at its own territory -- despite US denials.

Bush's talks will also focus on the status of the conflict-torn Serbian province of Kosovo for which the US leader called for independence during a visit to Albania on Sunday.

Bulgarian leaders were also largely expected to seek US support on the case of the five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor, jailed in Libya for over eight years in a high-profile hospital AIDS epidemics case and currently appealing their death sentences.

The six foreigners are regarded by both the US and the European Union as scapegoats for the infection with AIDS of over 400 Libyan children at a hospital in the northeastern town of Benghazi, which international health experts have blamed on poor hygiene.

"Mr Bush, help Libya! This could save our nurses," the front page of Bulgaria's widest circulation daily newspaper, Trud, read Monday.

Other topics of discussion will be Bulgaria's involvement in the US-led coalition force in Iraq and the NATO ISAF contingent in Afghanistan.

Bulgaria currently has a 155-strong peacekeeping contingent in Iraq and is also planning to increase to 400 troops its contingent in Afghanistan.

Since joining the multinational force in Iraq, the small Balkan state has lost 13 soldiers and six civilians, including a soldier shot by US "friendly" fire.

Bush will also discuss in Sofia the remaining technical details for the deployment of US soldiers at joint military facilities in Bulgaria, following a deal signed last April.

Unprecedented security measures accompanied the first visit to Bulgaria by a US president since 1999.

On Monday morning over 3,500 police officers were deployed on the streets of the capital, which was sparsely decorated with star-spangled banners.

"Touchdown! Bush touched down," "Bush came. Sofia froze," and "Second Sunday because of Bush," read the headlines on Bulgarian newspapers' front pages.

The major boulevard leading downtown from the airport was completely closed to traffic for an hour Sunday evening, while pedestrians crowded at the sidewalks to watch the presidential motorcade.

Following a lunch reception at the National historical museum he was to take part in a roundtable at the American university in Sofia and depart for Washington around 4:00 pm (1300 GMT).

Bulgaria is the final stop on the European tour that also took the US president to the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy and Albania in addition to the G8 summit in Germany.

Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said Wednesday he will remarry Saturday, nearly two years after his wife died because of illness.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, a ceremony to solemnize the marriage between Abdullah, 67, and Jeanne Abdullah, 53, will be held at the official residence, attended only by close family members.

Abdullah's aide told Kyodo News that they were acquainted through her previous marriage, from which she has two daughters.

According to the statement, Jeanne is the eldest of four siblings and has extensive experience in hotel management, having worked at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton Hotel and the Pan Pacific Hotel among others.

She used to administer the official residences of the prime minister and the deputy prime minister, the statement said.

Talks of Abdullah's remarrying have been swirling for months especially on the Internet. In March, Abdullah dismissed them as "just rumors."

Starcraft 2 And Live-Action Negima Edition

I’m having a small bout of insomnia, and well, the news out of South Korea that Starcraft 2 is coming out doesn’t help put me to sleep. The only odd thing I find with all this is that the Games Radar article I linked above is exactly right about everything, but it was available in its entirety quite a bit earlier than the IGN live-blogging of the event. In any case, I grew up playing Starcraft and Warcraft games, so I’m quite excited about this, and I can’t wait to see some of the videos that Blizzard is currently showing at their Worldwide Invitational. That was fast. It’s on YouTube. The official site is up with good quality videos.






In other news, famous manga-ka Akamatsu Ken confirmed that his popular series Mahou Sensei Negima is getting a live-action drama. It seems that the actresses for the 31 girls of Negi’s class have been decided, and as MOON PHASE notes, they’ll probably all be child actresses and gravure idols. The first thing I thought of when I read the news was PGSM, and that didn’t exactly leave me with fond memories. I’m a bit afraid to see what Negima will look like in a live-action format (wigs all over the place I would guess and maybe a stuffed animal for Kamo-kun), but morbid curiosity compels me to follow this.
