MSI Gaming DotA Tournament 2011

MGT Facts:
MSI Gaming Tournament (MGT) is a self-organized event by MSI Malaysia, a local representative of Micro-Star Int'l CO., Ltd. MSI, is a world-renowned mainboard and graphics card manufacturer, which also produce its own Notebook. The MGT first started in 2010, known as MSI DotA Tournament 2010. The main theme of MSI Gaming Tourney will always be the same, "Game for Fun" and therefore it will be a tradition that in any of MSI Gaming Events, there won't be any registration fee.

Showmatch:
In the coming MGTD 2011, MSI will be holding a showmatch with their newly appointed Gaming Ambassador, Tan "Shizuma" Lyn Xhin in the 1st kick-off qualifier, FTZ ASiA.net Cyber Cafe, Penang and also the Grand Final. Two renowned local DotA player will be featured in 1 vs 1 showmatch against Shizuma.

DotA Workshop by "Malaysia DotA Hideout":
One of the biggest sub-event offered in MGTD 2011. This DotA Workshop is a cooperation between MSI and "Malaysia DotA Hideout" organization led by Chan "Winter" Litt-Binn and Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung. Both has their own strong point with "Winter" as one of the best drafter while "Mushi" is considered as a carry second to non. this DotA Workshop, themed "If we can't beat the best, we want YOU to do it," will be carried out during the end of each qualifier in the Cyber Cafe itself. Free to everyone, participants will be given tips to improve their game competitively. The topic includes laning, ganking, supporting, farming, drafting, etc.

Registration:
Registration of MSI Gaming Tournament (DotA) 2011 is through the Official Registration Site only. There's not other registration alternative. Each qualifier is open to 16 teams only, therefore first come first serve.

Kuching State Qualifier:
Both State Qualifier winner of Mars Cyberzone and Gizmo Gamers will be provided free 2-way-flight to participate in the MGTD 2011 Grand Final. Thanks to our sponsor, Yes Travel & Holidays Sdn. Bhd.

Auto-Qualified to Grand Final
Reigning champion and 1st runner-up of MSI DotA Tournament 2010 will be invited to the Grand Final directly.

• The 11 players invited are Yamateh, Mushi, Xtinct, Net, Ice, Winter, xiao|ing, SilverCross, Redsun, DeejaySharky, Sub.
• A team of at least 4 out of the 10 players above will obtain direct qualification to Grand Final.

Team Xclusive.Gaming has been registered at Mars Cyberzone qualifier in MGTD! Royce took the opportunity to register the team online as one of the earliest in the overall tournament as well.

Rainforest Cyber Cafe DotA Tournament 2011

Rainforest Cyber Cafe DotA Tournament is back with it's 2nd tournament of the year in the upcoming school holidays! The last edition was back in January/February just before the Chinese New Year and now its back even better. Yes, BETTER because the registration this time will be FREEEEEE! It is open to ALL teams so do not hesitate to join and earn some fame for you and your teammates.

Will the defending champion, RedSpade.RsF able to defend their tittle? Take a ride down to RFCC, Gadong Branch in this upcoming 13th June to witness them playing LIVE and watch them playing at their best.

Team Djan was part of my team I managed and played with since year 2010. They possess great teamplay skills and their lack of training can be overcome by the strengths of the full-roster team players. One of the player nicknamed as MorgaN went to Brunei for study and work and has formed the Brunei division of team Djan. This tournament journey had led the team to the grand finals of the tournament soon.


Djan will play Redspade.RF_Revenge in the Grand Finals of Rainforest Cyber Cafe DotA Tournament 2011 (June) on Thursday night, 8PM! Head down to RFCC, Gadong Branch to see it LIVE!

Either way, it will either be champion or second place ahead for team Djan. So there's another achievement! Good job.

Xclusive.Gaming is a competitive gaming team based in East Malaysia - Sarawak. The team was formed back in mid 2008 and is officially named Xclusive.Gaming in 2010. The players in the team take gaming seriously as a sport, hobby, passion and prioritize achievement.

Royce` has officially joined Xclusive.Gaming through communicating with the team which ranked themselves around top 5 in Sarawak before as proven at Mad.Net DotA Tournament 2010. I have recruited retirees and strong players for Swinburne DotA competition and has earned ourself around 2nd/3rd in between. And also proven myself by beating Cyberline CrZ at semi-finals of a weekly tournament then reached finals losing to only Cyberline MY. May not seem so catchy but I have beaten down around 25 DotA teams in Sarawak and still ongoing.

You can recruit me in future but I'll stay as long as possible in Xclusive.Gaming because they are my comrades and I have guided them a while as they started competitive DotA. My DotA role is based on ganker and supporter or semi-carry.

Concludes the 5th placing tie for team Xclusive.Gaming at this current competition. Was a close match but I was just observing my teams from behind but managed to play 2 games that helped my team win as far as possible. Rush 2 was part of a team I managed known as MaDNet Outlawz years ago after new sponsor came for them as me(manager) and CooPeR(player) left. They had been competing for around 5 years and recruited players that fit their lineup. As for team Xclusive, it's just a 2 years half team running and has already cope up with their levels but lack in certain game communication. I foresee my DotA career as a main-player for strong teams that requires my talent in future. That's all about it! More to come since winning and losing a competition can make your mood swing but I'll overcome it again!
