Call of Duty Championship Including MLG US Qualifiers and Championship Announced
Competition to be Broadcasted on MLG.TV
The third annual Call of Duty Championship, presented by Activision, Sledgehammer Games and Xbox, in partnership with Major League Gaming and international eSports partners returns to Los Angeles from March 27-29. The tournament will play host to 32 of the best Call of Duty teams from around the globe, as they compete for the right to be called the Call of Duty “World Champions”, and claim the bulk of the tournament’s $1 million prize pool.
The best teams from five continents, Asia, Australia, North America, South America and Europe will compete for a spot through a range of qualifying events broadcast on MLG.tv, with select live regional finals taking place February through early March in Australia, Brazil, the U.K. and the U.S. The live regional finals will also be broadcast on MLG.tv.
PERSONAL OPINION
I was hoping that MLG would notice SEA region more seriously after it's politic and economic standards are stable after a few years later from now on. Oh come on! I have the potential to join these tournaments and maybe whoop up some Top 4 teams out of 512. But we don't have this kind of luck. But all the best as this tournament has been held I think for almost six years annually which I suggest to have a change of pro players in it. Asians versus the World. Literally!
Signs out,
Royce
